| You Should Know | Shwood Select 2012 Video Lookbook

I’m usually not a fan of 3D. It tends to give me a headache. However, I may change my tune after seeing this video.

Our friends at Shwood created their 2012 video lookbook using a 3D technique from the early 1800’s that provides us with a cool and interesting preview of their collection, amidst the backdrop and incredible views of Oregon’s backwoods. Shwood sunglasses have done an almost impossible feat. They’ve captured the magnificent beauty found in nature and harnessed it into a super rad looking pair of glasses.

Headquartered in Oregon, the very first pair of Shwoods were born from the limb of a Madrone tree, a rusty pair of cabinet hinges, and lenses from the corner store. You’ll find the same pattern on the Pendleton wool storage pouch they come in. Limited to 1,000 pieces, these glasses are something special as the project pays tribute to the state of Orgegon and the heritage manufacturing techniques that make the products great.  Pick up a pair for yourself at Threads & Needles.  -Courtney P.S.
